FORT WORTH, Texas (May 30, 2019) – Kendall Cason Iles has been named the Executive Director of the Davey O’Brien Foundation, Board of Trustees President Paul Greenwell announced Thursday. Iles had served as the Associate Director at the Foundation since 2014.
“I am honored and thankful to have been chosen as the Executive Director of the Davey O’Brien Foundation,” Iles said. “This has been a dream of mine for years, so I’m excited to continue the great legacy of Davey O’Brien.”
Iles is a 2010 graduate of Texas Christian University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communication, with an emphasis in public relations and advertising. Iles has been involved with the National College Football Awards Association since 2014.
Prior to joining the Davey O’Brien Foundation staff, she worked for The Fort Worth Club.
“After an extensive search, Kendall was identified as the candidate best suited to lead the Foundation toward its goals in the years ahead,” Greenwell said. “We are extremely pleased to have her continue her service to the Foundation.”
Additionally, Greenwell announced that Steve Boma has been named Head of Development, a newly created position with the Foundation. Boma recently retired from Frost Bank after more than 30 years in the banking industry.
Boma is a longtime member of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees and Executive Committee, and has served as the Finance and Development Committee Chair for more than a decade. Boma is a graduate of Southern Illinois University.
“Both Kendall and Steve are well-versed in the mission and goals of the Foundation and have extensive local contacts,” Greenwell said. “We are excited about the future of the Davey O’Brien Foundation under their direction.”
